Ok i cracked my thermostat housing base and I cant get the hard pipe out of the bottom of the broken 1 to install the new housing base. How do I do it?

Undo the nut and bracket then pull really hard.

Pull harder

Also try twisting to break the seal

Wedge a long bar behind it and lever it out.

it is only like copper or something and bending it back and forth will weaken it

1. Pull it harder, it might break, s**t happens, worry about that if it does.

2. Leave it alone.

3. Call a mobile mechanic to do it for you.

i decided to go with 4, cut the thermostat housing up with an angle grinder and try to pry the thing off with a screwdriver, wilol let u know how it goes
