Just found a guy selling vortex mufflers on ebay for $100. They are meant to create a vacuum to lower back pressure. They claim "No other exhaust system on the market gives a power increase like the VORTEX high performance muffler."
Has anybody tried these mufflers they are meant to retail for $620 so they might be as good as they claim. But cant go wrong for $100 i guess, has to be better then the glass pack style muffler im using at the moment. It's been around for years now and the principle behind the design is very sound in theory.

But the $ outset to see if in practice it makes a difference is not worth it.
If you can get it for $100 then go for it if you want, I would just spend the money on a decent quality straight through muffler though.
