True i had a stuck head bolt that broke a socket and a spanner in 1/2. (we welded a ring spanner to the head bolt with an extension bar and snapped the ring spanner in 1/2)

Ended up just attacking the bolt head with a 4" grinding and thin disk. Just make sure you dont cut the head at all as rocker oil galeries are very close to the bolt holes. Once we had the head cut off and the head off the bolt actualy came out by hand easy as pie.
