hey guys picked up a el motor today from the wreker. got compleat motor its done 157 thou ks air intake and comp. the comp is actually out of a xr6 . .. neway its going to be going into my eb just want to replace all the gaskets while its out.

what im wondering is whats a rought price to get a head reserficed and can any one recon a place in PERTH W.A ..

When my head was machined it cost $75.

Ive recently fitted an EL Tickford motor to my EBII. What I did was take the EL engine loom off completely and modify the EB engine loom to fit..

Youll have to run the extra wires to the ECU for the BBM (which also needs accessory 12v) and you should run the wiring for the knock sensor .. which is something i havent done yet but really really should.. Also dont make the mistake i made when modifying the EB loom, I manged to lose the oil pressure sender wire.

picked it up from a wrecker with all intake box and a xr6 comp for $600 157 thou on clock. also got my t5 conversion for $600 withoout clutch. but that was with box pedel box interior boot and eb manaul comp. the manual i got bout 3 mths ago

Got my head skimmed at Hi-tek cylinder heads in Malaga, about 18 months ago. Cost $150 with a couple of welds.

here in sa i get all6 cylinder heads faced and pressure tested for 90-100$
