Like it....in fact I am inspired 8-) Reckon I can make (read get Toddy to make! :lol: ) a cover similar out of checkerplate aluminium for my ute.Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :idea:

OK so the ehat tape did fall of but did not catch on fire. Bloody stuff just lost all stick.

why don't u put holes in it and pop-rivet the heat absorbent material to it, would kinda make the heat shield look tough I reckon.

Now there is a good idea. Does not have to be stainless for the bottom piece either.
