Hey all,

I have just done the clutch, well I dont know how but the thrust bearing is stuffed.

My question is, is it worth putting a Heavy Duty clutch in or is the standard clutch fine on its own?

Cheers

Choca

personally i reckon the stock clutch is pissweak, so an upgrade to a HD clutch would be a good step.... just make sure ya get the firewall checked/strengthened

I believe one of our members is running the PBR XR6 clutch, and he is pushing about 150rwkw, and it easily copes with this. And this car is not driven lightly or gently... :D

So this might prove a good alternative to an expensive heavy duty clutch.

You should be able to pick them up for the $300 mark.
