My ed fairmont has had the radiator replaced by a 'heavy duty' one. The invoice does not state what type it is, but i was wondering if the new radiator would effect the performance of the vehical?

it also has a transmission oil cooler, will this do much?

(it was used to tow a boat around, and i plan on towing mine with it also)

In terms of performance it will not affect your car either way. It will however keep your temperature under control alot better during testing situations - ie towing hard driving etc.

The transmission cooler adds a little bit of oil capacity to your gearbox, whcih is a good thing as the capacity is quite marginal in the BTR 4 speed autos. More importantly though, it will help your transmission run a fair bit cooler which should drastically increase its life span.
