i've had my falcon for about 18 months not and there's this little switch fitted just under there the handbrake is and i'm dammed if i know what it's for. i'm asking because i was i a car yard the other day looking at other eb falcons and some had a switch in the same place.

doesw anyone elso out there have an EB with the same deal or does anyone have any idea what it is??

Is the switch out of sight? Maybe someone put a kill switch in it.

nah, it's in clear view and it's not an on and off switch like a light, it' just a buton like a horn or mouse key, i don't know the difference

yeah, i tried that hoping the car wouldn't die or anything but there's othing i can see happening.

press it while drving the car & see what it does.
I have a shift kit switch in my EB & check to see where the wiring is going to & from.
If its a shift kit then your car will hold out longer on the gear changes :lol:

The shift kits change how quickly you gears change, when the change starts is controlled by the ECU and the Power/Normal/Economy button changes this.

Sounds like a valet switch or similar for an old alarm. Probably disconnected.
