Find RDs RDL Wagon thread.

He used the complete looms and interior from an EL into his Wagon.

The same thing can be done using an EF wiring loom, and was done by PIMP LTD.

what have you actually done so far? if you did a full loom swap then id say a relay is blown, did you install the full smartlock system?

i ment the loom has 2 plugs that drop down and exit at the same spot, just check that you have the red wire on the starter motor not the blue/black one

under the overflow bottle there should be a brown relay, exchange that with the one from the old loom and see what happens

have you checked you have ALL the loom plugs plugged in. if you have id be testing the current to the starter motor to make sure its getting the crank signal and check your starter cable to the battery, make sure its got good contact

if its not cranking try checking the earth wire for the starter relay, i had this problem with my ed and a mate had the same problem with his ef cos the earth wire runs through the bcm and if the solder join in the bcm goes crappy then it wont start. if this is the problem u can just cut the wire off from the relay and run it straight to the earth on the battery like i have (to lazy to pull the bcm out and do it properly), if you do this make sure you tape up the wire running to the bcm as they dont like a feed back through tht wire so i have been told, or if your confident enough you can open the bcm and re-solder the join. i can post some pics of my lazy fix if that would help?
