now as far as i can tell i have got every thing hooked up right (car was in bits) every thing works fuel pump primes relays click but there is no power to the little wire to the starter motor any ideas oh and i tested the starter motor and it duz work and the inhibater switch is hooked up so its really got me f**k so HELLLLLLP oh and does any one know this car a bloke on here owned it

i dont no the motor wont turn over nothing is happening at the starter motor end will a f**k coil stop the starter motor working

check all ya fuses man.
if its teh coil/dizzy it will still crank but wotn fire. also try hitting the dash while turning the key sometimes smartlock module gets dirty and u have to hit the dash to get some life into it.. i have to with mine anyway.. |

i have never had the car running befor so i dont no if it ever had issues but when it was parked it was running but my mate took the motor out of it and put it in his it usta have an eb block with ef head now its got a stock eb 4.0. i took the inhibitor switch plug off there are 4 wires 2 red 1 black and one yellow/creamish the creamish one has power when the ignition is on if i hook the test lamp up to on of the red ones and try and start it i then get a click for a relay but the voltage is very low im fair sure its the inhibitor switch

If you want to test it just bridge out the inhibitor switch

I can't remember, just bridge one at a time until it works - that's what I normally do. If you want to do it properly, a Gregories manual will have the wire colours in it.

i have the proper work shop manual wat i have found out is that the 85 and the 95 btr autos have there own ecu which this one has now if i have an ecu which is for a 91 btr with the contorl modual for the box in it will it work with the 85 and 95 autos does any one here now some one who has a scan tool that lives on the south coast that would umm help me out cheaply lol
