Some gasket sets come with 2 of those seals....early and late.
Early ones are quite wide, and don't fit into a groove in the timing cover.
Timing cover to cylinder head seal.....or upper timing cover seal.
Use super glue at the ends to secure, and apply either Grey Maxx, or Toyota Black gasket packing when sitting the head gasket on.

Timing case "c" gasket. What I hear it get called alot.
Deffinantly put some sealant in the corners if the c gasket (either end), or it will leak.
I use permatex high temp red.

I normally call it 'that stupid seal that leaks all the on every falcon'.

Buy some toyota black seal packing and run a bead of it in place of the gasket.

I like this better then c gasket.

If the kit didn't have it I'd take it back haha, make sure you time up the cam gear properly cos looks like you've pulled it out.
