HELP!! Just fitted extractors, get too hot, melting wires!!

Ive had extractors on mine for years and nothing has come close to melting, the only thing ive heat wrapped up was the wiring for my wide band oxy sensor, only because I didnt want to risk melting a $300 part.

People do say the accelerator cables can melt but ive seen no sign of it.

It seems to be fine now, i think i found the problem, i replaced the spark plugs and found the old ones gap as F**k huge.... over twice what they are sposed to be...
