transducer is what the speedo cog sits in, on the side of the gearbox . I've got a few spare laying around, would not go to ford spares though . |

yer mate go for a secondhand gear at least untill you solve the problem then buy a newie could get costly flyin blind replacing good parts of nothin

thats no the speedo sender gear? the lilttle nylon one that sits on the speedo sender? if not could i get one of them off you altered XR6? PM me the details i need to pay ya?

any1? i dont think it would be the transducer as i though that was the same thing as a speed sender which i also replaced!

sorry mate i have no other sugestions, ecept for replacing parts till ya find the stuffed one. could be costly unless you know some one with a ef and thay will let you play swaps with parts, do the process of elemination.

well i put the new cluster in my car it the speedo is still not bloody working so that is the cluster and speed sender cleared out of the way so wat now? any ideas

is it possible that if the circlip on the speed sender gear is put on write it will not turn?
