hey all! Well im in the market for a sexy set of 19' wheels! i dont know what to get and whats available in the e-series offset! i know theres the old amg wheels and roh wheels but im looking for something newer and different. Dont want to get into the replica wheels as to many people have them. Any ideas? What are spacers/hub adapters like? cheers

Hey Mate,

Welcome to fordmods...

Probably the wrong section to post this...

Anyway! Try to steer clear of hub adaptors for the simple reason that they're very illegal. Although you obviously don't care too much about that seemings your looking for 19" wheels...

There are a fair few wheels around for the e-series. I've got RJR Tremors in 18". They also make them in 19". They also have RJR Brutes that fit. Drop into a Bob Jane T-marts for what they can fit.

They also make all the BA-BF GT and Typhoon wheels in the e-series offset as 19". Have a sticky beak on ebay for them.

There are also a few Advanti wheels that fit. They look ok.

I have Avanti Volt Chrome's in 17's but they also come in 18's & 19's and they are also pre-AU. Haven't seen anybody else with a set yet, so I suppose you could say they are not that common. Bout $2k should get you a set of 19's with tyres.

Im still looking for the skirts and flares but they're proving hard to come by at the moment..I also plan on getting EF/EL fairmont door moulds in white which should be something different than same old colourcoded ed moulds.

spacers and adapters are horrible. and not worth risking your life over.

they're are plenty of wheels you can get for an eseries.

deep dish rims look insane on the eseries.
the bigger the better.

here's one style jet xr had (and they look insane)

spacers and adapters are different... fullstop... ive used adapters for a long time no worries.. even drag raced on them lots of times... no worries...

and as for jet xr's rims.. they are very good... but yeah... you kind of have to have deep pockets to afford those rims... almost as much if not more than a stock ef el xr!....

yeah i love jetxrs wheels they are pure sex! But unfortunately way out of my price range. Im thinking of getting some 19" GT-Ps now as they're quite a big wheel to look at and can be had pretty cheap brand new!

out of interest what are his wheels called?

oh and whats the difference between spacers and adapters??
