Have done an engine swap in an EL Wagon, connected everything up and Its winding over fine, but i have no spark.

Both engines were running before the swap - the replacement hadnt run for 2-3 months, but seems to be turning over smoothly.

Its got gas only (750k ex cab ) one of the soleniods got stuck during the swap (took me a quite a while of very intermitent work) but works fine now after i ripped it apart. The old motor had the injector wires disconected, which i have done on this motor also

The smart lock light is not flashing and i tried leaving it on for 40 mins before starting - no luck

There are no extra lights on in the dash. With ign on, the coil is getting 11.83v and had 7.8k prim to sec resistance when tested out of the car - I have 2 and they are coming up with the same figures. The coil leed tests ok - even tried flexing it around, but when i put a sparkplug on the end and turn it over - Nothing

Any ideas???

it still might be the coil it might just reading how much power it has in the power serpluy or it might be just a loose wire or one you might have mist

i had an el wagon and the same thing happen have a look at fuel pump that might be the problem

Turned out to be the coil - even though it tested ok....

would like to give the ford design commitee a smack around for the engine bay layout
