hey all

I have a el i6 futura and the problem i have is when i give it a boot from the lights everything on the clusters looks like it is trying to reset itself and it goes into 2nd gear (while foot to the floor) at only around 3g's then everything goes back to normal like nothing happened.
It also does it when i am doing 80 K/h the clusters do the same thing but the gearbox kicks back into 3rd i thought that it could of been my bcm (which i put a new 1 in) or could it be my ecu.
Oh and my interior light stays on even though i have changed the door light switch.

and i noticed today that when it happens with my lights on they flash a few times aswell.

i took it to an autoelectrician and found out that my alternator was over charging and causing the clusters and gearbox to go this way
