I changed my spark plug leads today, but now when i start the car it idles rough, like it coughs and sputters, i only changed the leads, nothing else as i was going to do that later.

How do i locate which lead i got wrong???

i started trying to figure out how many there actually were and it might not be 10000 but its a f**k load

i havent changed the one from the coil to the dissy (yet) will it help if i change that as well?

That is the main one you should replace, if you think about it, that single lead does 6 times the work of any of the others as the spark goes through it to get to any of the others!
As for the rest of the leads check there all in the right place nad that there all connected properly to start with!

how can you check if all the leads go to the right plug? Also some of the new leads were a different length to the ones i took out :cry: . Will that affect how it runs??

will it affect the engine if i pull the out the leads that i *suspect* are wrong? And then start the engine (running on 4 cyls) to see if it stops running rough?

the diferent lengths will mean diferent resistance

i replaced lead from coil to dizzy, problem still there. CAN I UNPLUG SESPECTED CROSSED LEADS?

yes,,unplug then one at a time till you find the crossed one,,but be carefull..
