well, i was driving my xf tonight, and i was taking a corner and the car died.. just f**k dead and the steering locked up and everything was f**k, and theres a creek that follows the corner around.. retty freaky, then id start the car it would run, and stop, it stalled 3 times within 30 seconds.. i need help
what the f**k could be doign this? the car isnt going outt il its fixed i could be a*** up in a f**k creek right now

is it carby or efi ? if carby it might be the idle solanord on the carby it is a long thing on the top part of the carby

check battery terminals too.

its an EFI, ive checked the terminals and theyre clean..
i havent had a chance to go over it properly, but ill check the inlet manifold bolts, last time its stalled the a***hole only did em up finger tight and she was suckign air.. cheers guys |

check the brake booster and hoses as if you lose pressure there the motor stalls and you lose all brakes except hand brake (i know from experience)

Go over it for vacuum and crankcase air leaks. These things are very temperamental to vacuum leaks, particularly a loose fitting dipstick or oil cap!
