Hi Fellow ford modders I've just ran a KOEO diagnostic test on my Ed falcon the car is running the EL BBM ECU and is a manual (J3 chip has manual tune on it) but auto ecu and still running the resistor trick
The following fault codes cam up.....
512-Internal EEC V Fault
521-PSP Failed open
791-FC1 Output Check Fail
792-FC2 Output Check Fail
783-Serial Link output check fail
777-Drivers side Cooling Fan not operating
778-Passenger side Cooling Fan not operating

now im not concerned about the following codes as i have the fans run off a thematic switch and relays and relay tee'd from the A/C solenoid wire etc more troubled about the following codes
512,521 & 783

from what i have searched
512-No idea?
521-I have no idea?
783-Is the ECON/POWER switch loom thats been removed (due to being a manual now)

what do i need to do to fix these and whould this affect the cars running (performance/fuel econ?)

I think the internal EEC fault is cause you have the chip plugged in. Unplug it, it shouldnt give the fault .The serial link is a data link that ef's have that goes to trip computer and i think the cluster, so you dont have that. The psp is because you didnt turn the steering wheel during the test, or maybe the PS switch is stuffed. My car has all these codes too, so its all good i think :P.

documents.php?d=52

thats has some detail too.

Funny thing is, i get the faulty eec codes for both the I6 and v8 (511 and 512). You'l get a whole bunch of solenoid faults that take 10 days to run through with the chip out though :P
