this is my ride below just enquiring is it worth the issue of replacing the box or should i part with my beloved car to go manual...?

Just do a manual conversion. They are simple, and completely change the car.
With the BA, get the box, clutch, clutch pedal, master cylinder, fluid lines etc and make sure you get a manual ECU. Do the conversion, put the ECU in and tow the car to Ford. They will need to match the ECU to the car.

You don't need a manual computer with b series. Just need to take it to ford and get the manual program flashed in.
