this weekend i was hopein to install a wade 1636 2 1/2 sports system and next weekend do the auto to manaul change doent look like i will get time to do any of it, anyways i am hoping to beat or keep up with my mates au xr6 are my expectations a little high or will these mods kick a*** ?

Yeah, that should be doable when you get the cam/exhaust/gearbox in.
Should make a big difference.

sweet can hardly wait, might go to calder next friday if its all finished see if him and his brother want to run, his bro has a ef xr6 auto has beaten me by a car lenth in the past, by the sounds should flog em both i need to show em up :). another question i have a 3.08 diff would it be worth investing in a 3.45?

Decide for yourself when you put the manual in. Wouldn't suprise me if the 3.08 pulls a better time down the 1/4 as you won't have to shift into 4th.

yer i do travel in 100 kph zones alot dont want to loose to much of my fuel ecconomy

what ball park figure do ya think i will pull on the 1/4 keeping in mind the cam sports system manual 3.08 diff and i will be taking off my 17" and running 14" stockies

also last time i ran my mate in his ef xr6 he was running 14" and i was running my 17" would have this gave him the upper hand?

While I've never ran my 3.45 equipped XR6 down the quarter, I'd be very surprised if I had to slam it into fourth...

To be honest mate, I can't remember. I know I've seen 140 in third. I dunno if it would be pullin' over 140 km/ph at 400 metres...
