hi just noticed i have really high oil pressure in my ef,its almost at 7. what can i do to fix the problem?

I've got the same problem, just done an oil & filter change & the oil pressure went up higher. I was expecting it to go down a bit, not up.

the oil pressure senders usually clog up with bits that are floating around in the oil and is a common problem with them reading high.
i had same problem in my el and ef, i just took the sender units out and gave them a flush out with degreaser and it cured both cars. u arent using thicker oil are u craig |

It's the first oil change since I bought the wagon so I wouldn't know. Got the reciepts from the previous owner for the last service which was done just before i bought it somewhere. I'd better check the oil sender unit then.
