I've heard that bigger isn't always better. Going too big can relate to spark loss (??) from memory, unless you have monster coils to provide more oomph.

if u have a relatively stock engine get some good 8mm spiral core leads and thats more than u need.
i.e.
eagle
bosch
ngk
most people will recomend bosch

The Champion Heavy Duty ones arn't bad I've found.

As far as I know the thicker is better theory comes from the days when cars ran like 5/6mm leads, but now that 8mm is like common it's alright.

last night i picked up new set of bosch super sport ignition leads for my falcon from ebay, cost me $31.50, $39 inc postage, not a bad deal
