hi

decided to make my own harmonic balancer puller for the AU falcon 6 cylinder motor had a few hours to waste LOL

Repco wanted $ 103-95 plus GST and plus frieght for a puller
so decide to make my own it work great to

here are some pics if anyone else wants to make there own to

was in a hurry so didnt have time to slot( do it later ) the holes so it would be more versatile but i made a rough measurement for the radius of the bolt holes need to strip the motor to get it all acid bathed and start doing some measurements.

cya

That would be a puller, not a pulley :)

Good work!

Good stuff with the home made puller. Nice lookin bit of kit :)

Yeah - i saw the $105 puller at repco.... but they also sell a universal job for $25 which has done me well.

Ahhh- nice shot of the infamous EDIS wheel!!!

PS; amazing what cleveland head bolts come in handy for LOL kidding i'm a cleveland lover also

Ford forgot to drill and tap threads in the harmonic balancers LOL  think not just a way of them protecting people from damaging the crank trigger wheel behind the balancer my thought

hi

thank you

LOL no reason other than i was lazy to change the milling cutter to a smaller unit thats why the bolts are half missing, when it engages into the balancer i need more surface area for head of the bolt to grip otherwise i could of milled it lower down the stem closer to the head of the bolt
