Hey my mates xh/xg has the horn stuck on, and wont start, smart lock light is on and doesnt flash, is this the typical smartlock issue with the thing under the dash board? Thanks in advance

Now it wont wind over and windscreen wipers are horn?

not sure what that means but sounds like the clock spring is gone - behind the steering wheel, mates XR8 did the same. 8-)

I meant on, lol, nrma sent out a useless C*** who told the owner, "it doesnt wind over your wasting my time" I tryed explaining the smart lock issue and ,how the light should turn off but doesnt, to him but it seemed to go in 1 ear out the other so the owners just getn a tow to the mechanic

NRMA guys are usually d***head, if you can't fix it they probably won't be able to either! that is one reason ?I gave them away yrs ago!

His attitude was, if you dont need a jump start i dont wanna know about it, pretty pathetic when people pay good money and expect roadside assistance and some d**k turns up with a multimeter, if its not flat he just drives off

Any chance you could let me know what was wrong with your mates car, my '99 XH II S has just started doing the exact same bloody thing, it's been raining pretty heavily here in portland last couple of days, and all of a sudden my horn starts up, i go out in the pissing rain, check relays, fuses etc.., end up pulling battery, i'm assuming water has got in somewhere BCM maybe, but hopefully not, and hoping you could point me in right direction.
