Ive been on the lukey website and I must say the sound they have for the i6 is absolute s**t. no doubt about it, i could f@rt a better tune after baked beans and pancakes. my old EB with a 2.5 sports exhaust, main muffler only and genie headers absolutely crapped all over that sound, pity I dont still own it to post its growl.

Im thinking of running just one hooker aerochamber muffler with a 2.5 mandrel exhaust and paccys when the time comes, do you guys recomend a hotdog, or a resonator in there? or none at all? Ive never heard what ressies or hotdogs do to the note...

I ran my ef with no muffler just the cat, and the note wasn't that great or that loud. I was suprised. Makes me wonder if the cat would need to be changed to get the best out of any exhaust system.

andrew

Ps I wasn't actually driving with no exhaust, just moving the car to fit a 2nd hand standard system back on..

Mate a hotdog only exhaust sounds really loud, but like crap, especially when the engine has to labour.

its not overly loud on the outside i've heard single muffler falcons that are louder. All its done is when i had the muffler at the rear it made a flat note when taking off, vl commodores and the rest do the same, its made that note really chunky and burbly its actually given the car a nice note but i might see about getting another hotdog put on the rear see what that does
