he people my head is getting machind 2moz and after some quik advice on how much to take of the guy said i can take a whole 1mm off but didnt think i could go that far i was think more 50-60 thou of i have and au bottom end and mls headgasket any help is good im not worried bout driveability watsoever

there are markers on the bottom face of the head near the corners, they show the machinist how much he can take off.
ive pulled a head off an ed and it had been machined past these points and was still running fine, besides the head gasket was leaking. machining that far would have bumped up the compression too |

My advice i machine until it's flat and stop. either that or you will end up with timing chain noise.
