u dont have your car impounded if they pull u over for 2k's over, though

ive had my nos set for close on 20 years now. bottle has only been filled about 10 times though. hate not having a drag strip...

used to be about $75 to fill and i'd get 8? runs out of it running 125hp jets

always good when u are having a close run and hit the gas and pull away from them

if i was to do it again, i would have gone for a charger of some sort, mainly due to the cost of filling the bottle. I used enough gas over a period of 4 years to have purchased a charger. It cost 12.50 a pound, and my ten pound bottle was filled over 50 times.

The final set up i was using on the 5.0 would consume 1 bottle for 2 passes, and made consistant racing very inconsistant. Ideally i would have liked to have 4 full bottles for a meet, and even then i would be pushing it to remain consistant near the finals or semi finals.

screw playing with NOS, its illegal to have connected on the street and it totally gives the gay factor when you talk about it with your mates lol

all except for the 1 goose on this forum who is building a 351 to run happy gas. but yeah I tend to agree its pretty ghey.

so a small block ford V8 that shows 1005hp on JB automotives engine dyno is gay is it?
That engine in a 3700lb car when 148MPH with the 8000rpm rev limiter coming on 30m before the finish.

If thats gay, every car on this forum is the a*** that gets f**k.

Exactly. A properly thought out NO2 setup can be as safe if not safer than boost, with similar straight line results.

By the way NOS is a brand name "Nitrous Oxide Systems", sort of like calling all turbos "Garrets".

I have said it once and I will say it again "Fast and the Furious" has a lot to answer for.
