I was just wondering how much would it cost me to take my EL to a Mechanic Shop and get my Oil sump/Pan gasket supply and fit done.
I had a look underneath at it and it looks to tricky to do myself.
It does not leak too much but still is annoying as it is only leaking from the passenger side of the Sump and does leave a mess on my driveway!
Also does anyone know of a good mechanic around South-east Bayside Brisbane?

There is a lot of labour involved to change the sump gasket.

Either the engine needs to come out, or the engine gets lifted a little and the entire K Frame needs to be lowered.

I would not be surprised if it was well over $500.

ive dropped the kframe 4 times in mine in the last month its not that hard .could do it easy in a day ,you will need a jack and jack stands tho ,and someone to help you

depending on the labour rate you be up for anywhere between about $450 and $650 in labour. then you got the price of the gasket and 5L of oil.
they may also charge you to degrease the engine.

until then, just nip the bolts up if you haven't might slow it a little.

Yeah thanks folks.
I was told the exact some thing by a mechanic friend. But yeah have just being topping it up a bit every week. Its not to bad. In the meantime until I get a bit more cashflow to get the job done good and proper I will try and tighten the bolts. Cheers
