I am looking for a set of forged pistons with a bowl to put in an AU. 6
I have been told to use BA turbo pistons with gas rods. Has anybody have experience with this setup?

would be a good budget setup. the typhoon and later XR6T engine use the gas rods

If you use BA pistons, you will need to put a valve relief in the piston to suit the 12 valve set up. Here's a pic of the crowns.
