Heys guys,

I just got my car back yesterday after not having it for 4 weeks!

Its the first and last time that I organise anything over the christmas break!

Anyway, It has been with Mark (Its Performance) getting a Stage 5 rebuild, 3.45 LSD and Twin throttle body setup.

All is good other than some small supplier issues over christmas that were no fault of Marks.

Only other issue is my ecu wouldnt run with the twin throttle bodies, but as soon as he hooked up the single manifold again it started straight away, so no twin throttle bodies for me for a while until Mark finishes his new design.

It has only got a stage 3 cam in until the engine is partly run in and then he will put the 'big' cam in. Only about another 300 kms before that happens.

Thanks again to Mark for his late nights trying to sort my car out as its so temperamental.

Anyway Im just happy to have my car back again. :D :D :D

Interesting that yours couldn't hack the twin TBs...
Mark is only running the standard ECU but it must be an auto/manual thing.

Why the change of cams ? Stage 5 too wild to run it in on ?
Mine ran fine with the stage 4 from day one.
...until I put the A/C on, and then it had this wild lumpy idle. It sounded awesome :D
Unfortunately with summer the ECU has learnt it with the A/C on now so it's smooth sailing. damn. :P

It might have something to do with the difference between XR series ecu and mine.

No idea Im just doing what Im told. Run it for about 500-750kms then take it back for a oil and cam change.

Around 240rwhp

Im thinking about hooking up an aftermarket computer to bring the best out of it.

no that was upgrading his existing engine - EL XR6 engine - the $4k has been spent on mods...
