If it's got fuel and spark it has to be a timing issue. Pull the rocker cover off, and #1 plug out and check the correct valves are working when the piston is at TDC, etc. Also check the bottom pulley timing point while your at it.
Just go back to the basics and start from there. If you can change a transmission you will figure this out. It's not rocket surgery.
:D Good luck, and make sure you let us know what it was. Your problem may help someone else later....

take the tappet cover off and put the engine at TDC no.1 (on the crankshaft pully) whilst doing so the rockers on the no.6 cylinder should be rocking i.e. in between the top end of the exhaust stroke begining of the induction stroke. if no.6 is doing that than it is at TDC of the compresion stroke on no.1. check and make sure your crankshaft pulley is at TDC then have a look at the right hand side of the camshaft sprocket there is a small mark which MUST be within 3mm of the top of the cylinder head. if not your chain has jumped a link. just undo the timing chain tensioner and take it back a link. after that take out all your spark plugs crank the motor to flush out all the fuel (its probly flooded) clean your plugs put them back in & Then put some "start ya bastard" spray into the throttle body. and give her a crank.
