well what i thought was just going to be a simple pull the engine out and replace the sump gasket and timing cover gasket to stop the oil leak i had seems to have turned out to be a bit more worse then i thought.

dont know what has come loose to do the damage to the piston tops and head deck in cyl 1 to 3 but i think it might have something to do with the valve guides in the head busting on the intake side.

might use this as an excuse for more power :evil:

yeah, i put on another 40k km since brad had it.

what was weird though is i never lost any power at all. so it if wasnt for me pulling the engine out i wouldnt have known untill something went bang.

Hmmmmm... funny that, I had MY valve guides come loose on my Street fighter head, had to get a new set put in, just as well I didnt get the damage you got..

dont know what im gonna do yet, i have to check the cylinder walls for damage mainly in no1 and go from there i suppose.

i might be able to get my hands on a el engine so i might just transfer the ef coil pack and stuff onto it so i can get my car running again then start a rebuild
