yeah to replace you just jack up the engine undo the mount slide it out and put a new one in yeah? its an old car and only has to get me to april of next year. rang up my uncle who helped put the engine in turns out he had to mod it a bit to make it fit.. that would explain the slight wobble at 100km +

You need to modify the sump, Legal, or modify the K-frame, engineer required.

yeah it lifts up and seperates its rooted.. not sure what ill do with the car cant really sell it for anything other then parts coz while at the mechanics the other day someone hit it and smashed in the passenger door. if only they wrote it off. ps if the mount is rooted what effects will it have on the car itself.

I think the mounts on it are au mounts.. i wonder if anyone has some spare.. would be a prick to get a pair from the junkyard although cheaper than getting a new pair.. I got an EL down here reckon if i can get them off they will connect the AU II motor to my EF.

nope, the engine mount bolt spacing is the same, you can use ef/el mounts if you want.

You need to use the Round style Oil Filled units as the coil pack is also mounted on the left engine mount.

Put the car in drive and rev the engine a little with the brake on and watch the mounting if it separates and the engine lifts on the side, then, put the car in reverse and test the other side.
