Fair price as far as I can see, their time is worth money, if they weren't putting in a pod filter i'm sure they could have spent the same amount of time doing something else more productive..

Most likely minimum workshop fee is $50 for labour, otherwise it'd be a waste of time even looking at jobs like that....

*sigh* another panel filter bites the dust.

A decent panel is the way to go in my books.
But if the owner is happy with thats the main thing.

On the receipt it just said it's a (blue,80mm neck, inverted cone top) pod filter. There are no brand names stamped on it anywhere. yeah so don't know what brand name it is.

Sounds like a win-win tho... for 90 bucks, you're gonna be able to get a lot more done in 1 hour than you could in 1 hour wriggling around under a car that's up on stands.... be a good one for ppl servicing their auto trans or something...

Must be in interesting one for liability :) Im guessing there's one hell of a disclaimer!

Me mate took me in the old EL for a strap tonight, the induction noise from the pod is louder than the stock ford exhaust!!!

It was weird being in a car that made more noise from the engine than the exhaust.(back to front).

It did seem to pull a bit harder from the lights, although that could be because of the roaring sound coming through the passengers window.
