Did that include the price of the pod filter? Still a rip!!!

It will do the engine more harm than good with a pod filter not in a box as it will take up hot air from the engine bay rather than getting any cool air from a snorkel.

I reckon he should put the pod filter in a box with a snorkel so it doesn't suck up warm engine bay air.

I think he was over charged by abit. What brand is the filter. He should have did the same as you bigger snorkel abd K&N panel filter.
But the biggest question is is he happy with it? in the end thats all that matters

That's it mate, as long as his happy with it, that's the main thing.

Can't see why he wouldn't just do it himself though. F**k me, if I can do it, any C*** with a quarter of a brain can :)

Lol i know about the snorkels going "missing" at services. When i got my car it was gone, i reckon the b**tards must have stolen it at a service. But i can't imagine why you'de leave the snorkel there without the air box like in your pic. It's pretty much doing nothing!

This is what he got charged;

$40 Pod Filter
$10 Bracket
$50 Labour
$10 GST

Total=$110.

In all honesty (and don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go at ya) that's pretty fair. If you couldn't do it yourself, then paying someone else $50.00 to do it is fair I suppose.

Why didn't you do it yourself?

Agreed. Pricing sounds fair... would hardly call $50 labour ripping someone off.... was probably the minimum labour charge for the workshop.
