Seen this over at AFF n i posted mine, thought it would be a good idea to see some 6's dyno results, so heres mine!

This is my first one, i had extreme ignition breakup, (leaning out bad and misfiring)

I now have the leaning out / misfiring problem fixed with new wiring, also got a xr fuel reg, xr ecu, advanced timing, dont no if they would up ne thing, but without misfiring now, i hope for a extra 7kw, the dyno instructor todl me the ignition breaking up like the way it did, could cost me 10rwkw, so im yet to take it back, the first run 132.9kw @ 3rd gear and 126rwkw in 4th @ 150km/h

heres the video, taken on mobile fone, sorry bout the quality, its pretty crap, but u can hear the misfiring and ignition breaking up, infact u think its the liimter at one stage, then the revs increase that tiny bit more and stop...enjoy :)

probably a slightly lower reading as the dyno runs were done in 4th gear... aswell as a slight misfirring problem n the (autotech) dyno not being too generous in the rwkw counts... still was told by Spiro that my i6 was one of the more powerful N/A to have been dynoed there so was happy enough.. :D

i dont have the sheet, but i dyno'd the ef fairmont yesterday, straight lpg, pacemaker non comp extracters and 2.5" exhaust only, with 250,000k's on her and managed a respectable 105rwkw. doesnt sound much, but im happy i have the same power as a std one on petrol with the savings of the lpg.

I have heaps (due to my constant ECU fiddling and modding), but here's my best and latest.

All I can say is - damn speed and rev limiters, there's more power to be had there.

i cant get mine to load, but i got 140.9. i was a little disappointed, as i had hoped for more, but when you drive my car i think the dyno was a little generous.

I don't have a scanner, so I can't post the printout, but she made 149rwk with the power curve remaining relatively flat from 3500rpm right up to 5000rpm.

Tourque curve is pretty impressive too. FAT mid range. :)

What's with all these runs done in 2nd gear?

Dyno runs should be done in a 1:1 ratio gear - that's 3rd for BTR autos, and 4th for T5's. Do it, you'll get better numbers - and it's what dyno dymanics demand for shootout runs to be valid.

downingj - you have a digital camera? take a photo of it. My first dyno sheet, was photographed taped to a white door:

I've since bought a scanner.
