some wont belive me, i wasnt going to post it due to it sounding unrealistic but wtf. i beat a mates vt(x-police car) with my focus, i was still pulling away at 90km/h.
as hard as it is to belive its most new 4cyl give our old 6's a good run upto 100km/h

I6 has more torque but V6 is quicker.

Different story if your caught in the wrong gear but line by line, in a fair fight the V6 will kill an I6

a fair fight meaning stock vs stock??? i can confidently say that if ford and holden had the same gearing ford will win 100% of the time. since they dont v6 is always quicker of the mark, but 0-400m is a no contest.

Last time I ran at the motorplex, there were 3 v6 vt/vx's, the one on NOS did a high 16, the rest were mids.
EB2 V8 obviously hasn't grown any brain cells, for the love of god, please sell you Falcon, and purchase a commodore, in which you clearly belong.

The V6 is better. produces more torque down low where it counds.

Just go grab a auto VN and a Auto EL 4L

The VN will absolutely punish the EL falcon off the mark and the falcon doesnt have the grunt topeg it back. V6 and lighter weight and better gearing equals heaps better performance.

The VT will slog the AU in a straight line. Those V6s are known to go for 300,000km without an oil change. The i6 gives up the ghost at about 150,000km. (new head gasket required)

Go the VT

can we block wankers like this? the commo v6 is by no means light up until the alloytech all their mototrs were cast iron all the way through. STFU until you know what you are talking about.

Obviously your opinion stems from your experience which tells me you cant look after your car to keep it in decent nick, or you are australias poorest driver. Possibly both.

lol i always love this v6 and i6, if v6 is so sweet y do they always struggle to beat my ea? its been floged from the day I got it for $800 with 8 months rego its also a 5speed no mods cant even hear it run, now every one put s**t on it till they get beside me, and yes vn to vy all seem to loose, even vl and r31 turbo only get the better of me in the end of 3rd and 4th but thats i6 two. even a work mates (female) fto got smoked. in all honesty the only things that do the red beast are 8,turbs and magnas so then i get the ef out. i just dont c y people say v6 is better y? so it gets to 40k quickly so what. they are s**t to play in the dirt and the rain and mates motors keep dieing.
