Saw something today that has me thinking.....Is there a right and wrong way when fitting the Idle Control Solenoid to a ED 4.0? At the wreckers today I saw numerous EB-ED Falcons, Some with the plug/wire end towards the engine and some with the plug/wire end facing away from the engine. According to the Max Ellery workshop manual the plug/wire end faces towards the engine. Does it affect anything if the ICS is fitted either way?

dont got a clue mines fitted to the engine havent had probs besides taking it off to clean it.
