looks like the 'O' rings on the heater pipe are also leaking.
If you need instructions how to repair the thermostat gasket then you probably don't have the tools to do the job properly anyway so you may be better off getting a mechanic to fix it as the heater pipes are sometime hard to get off.

damn man, its the most easy job in the world, even i, who has f**k up countless number of things on my car has done it. really its harder to write up instructions than it is actually to do
