hi guys i need help!
my ef has a problem when i start it (cold) it idles rough as guts like it's missing or some thing. when i gets up to temp it runs fine. the car is on gas, does the same thing on petrol and gas. i thought it might be a coil pack but it fixes it self when warm sorta rules that out. idle speed motor thing ??? the thing i dont under stand is that it sorts it self out when warm. help!

check ya coolant and head gasket as when its cold the cyl could be full of water and whens its hot it evaporates straight away

if it's full of coolant the car wont turn over or may break a rod. mine locked up when cracked head so i pulled out the plug to get it going again.
this sounds pretty typical. may need the temp sensor replaced in the intake manifold |

there should be nothing wrong it is the coputer warm up program they do it tilll there warm

does yours back fire and stuff? the thing is it was fine before and now has just started doing it..... i have changed the idel speed motor , new leads and plugs. same prob, made no diffrence
