the fuel injection on those motors is renound for being very hard to maintain, its very sensitive to vacuum.. which would make it incredibly sensitive to a larger than stock cam.. personally i would suggest a 465 vac sec holley, or tripple webers.. :)


the 465 iirc has smaller primaries than a 350 2bbl so its more drivable & efficient on low throttle..

I built a 250 with a 600 holley on it, and it went like a cut snake. Would out drag a BA XR8 auto. Was a 4sp with 2.92 LSD and didn't have a flat spot, or lag. Would smoke a set of 265/70R15's let down to 18psi.
