Hey that one in the pic I am pretty sure they dont make them anymore. If that is the same one from autobarn told me about. Tried to order it then found out not made anymore.

Difilippo still make em and yes way too much for that item. Try and find an Exhaust shop that does mandrell stainless bending and have one made up. Should be heaps cheaper.

They are expensive but I've found you'll be hard pressed to find an exhaust joint that will do one cheap.

First exhaust shop i asked said they would do it for $160. Fits nice, but i wouldnt do it again. The metal pipes get very hot, and my guess is any gains from bigger piping would be lost in the extra heat.

if someone could make one out of plastic, that would work the best.
it'd probably cost more that $300 though!!

Dude they dont really get that much hotter anyway. As long as you have a decent filter and CAI you will be fine. Hey get EFd can you post up a picture?

If you put both a peice of metal and a peice of plastic in a room at 70* I would of thought they'd both get to 70* after a while. I don't see why the metal piping would get any hotter. Also remember when you go and feel it the cars been off and the heats started soaking up. When it's acutally running the piping would be colder because a. there's some air flowing under the bonnet and the fans cooling the engine bay down and b. there's cold air flowing through the pipes which would cool it down some.
Also, remember your inlet manifold is also metal and is even closer to the hot engine so it's not gunna make it any worse if the pipe before that is also metal!

for what gains you get it would be the worst $400 you could possibly spend. i think waggin said he was running 180rwkw with the stock piping so it can be to bad, mandrel bent intakes just look good that it maybe good for 1 or 2 kw

Yes that is true.Gains r not that noticable,Until u start pushing the 140rwkw barrier, then it starts to come into its own.
But looks good for now.

Well I have permission to go in search of the elusive 160+rwkw barrier so I am looking into all aspects. Beside with the big heavey stereo in the boot I need a powerfull engine.
