How hard is it : is it something Im going to do easilly myself.

Also - am I better off with the muffler/resonator in the tailpipe or the straight through one (I like a nice note, but dont need unreasonably loud or droney)

Hi Nigel

My EB has a Redback with One Muffler and One Rear Resonator. In my opinion it is more than loud enough. You heard it for yourself, so perhaps you can use that as a guide.

They are quite easy to install as they should be in two parts. I have even installed one that was welded at the join in front of the diff, so many things are possible.

If it is two pieces, it should be a simple bolt up one man operation.

Just jack the car up at the rear as high as you can, support on stands and let the diff hang. You should then have enough room to get the rear pipe over the diff from the back of the car.

Cheers
BenJ

I run one muffler on mine with no resi, doesn't drone or anything....It's a 2.5in with hooker aerochamber muffller.

Pretty easy to fit yourself if its a two piece which it should be...I would think it should only take an hour for the first time you do it
