A mate is chasing power in his EL manual. But is on P's so turbo is out of the question.

Now my main question is intake side of things. I heard if you use BA intake pipe (being 3" all the way), BA airbox (with slight massaging of the inner guard) and a GT? Snorkel with a K&N you get noticeable gains.

Couldn't remember exactly. Correct me if i'm wrong. Also i don't wanna hear "get suchasuch brand CAI, It's awesome"

so 3" pipe from where the elbow that goes into the TB ends to the airbox? would prefer a panel filter

3" mandrel bend from the Ford elbow to the EL box (with a EF lid, as they have less fins and are less restrictive) with a K&N should be a nice addition.

Nah i used the whole ba intake , plastic elbow and flex hose . It's in my build thread. Because it won't reach the el airbox you need a short piece of pipe. If your going panel filter it will be easy to set up . Grab a ef airbox lid as 3" pipe fits in it perfect .

They do have a 3" inlet aswell as ef airbox lid . Or you can undo the 4 bolts and swap the square thing onto a el lid. To fit a ba airbox I think you have to hammer out the guard ..

so XR6T snorkel, EL lower box, EF upper box, K&N panel filter, short bit of 3" pipe to adapt BA intake piping to T/B

go 3" piping from throttle body to airbox, the BA piece is no way near 3" through the middle section and would be more restricting.
