why waste ur time on a s**t 6? I was running an ea gl with a ported and hiflowed el xr6 motor, massive custom cam, motec, 4.11's, 5spd, full exhaust and the best it ran was a 14.9

f**k 6's.

owning a car with potential for low 14/high 13 second car is somthing, but being a driver who can actually get the times out of the car at the quarter is something else.
blame yourself not the car buddy

ur 19 mate.. what the f**k would u know about driving.

i no that if i had that car id pull better time then that. 14.9 is pathetic. you've disgraced the i6. i rekon a stock i6 manual with exhaust, extractors, cai and a DECENT DRIVER behind it should easily break into the 14's. i think we both no the car wasn't to blame for that s**t time

haha your in dream world buddy... forum hero! have u ever been on a drag strip? Are you one of those internet racers that beleives what everyone writes on forums so it must be true? A stock i6 manual with the mods u stated would be struggling to f**k run a 15 let alone a 16. I spent big $$$ an hours with wa's top motec tuner getting the most out of my ea. What a f**k waste of time. I discovered v8's and realised that i had been an idiot for doign up a 6. You will learn this one day.

didnt the boys from sydney morning heralds "drive" column get a BF XT 6 speed auto down the 1/4 at 14.5? I recall an article about it in here somewheres... surely others remember it. so yeah its easily possible. with the right setup.

yeah it ran a 14.5..... and a Tarago ran a 14.9 :P

hehe, your getting offended, that time of the month is it???
i had my Fairmont ef auto at drag tag with just a redback exhaust and pacci'z and got a best of 15.6. im no track expert, never been in fact, im not the best driver.
i think my car would be capable of mid15 down the quarter. add a manual. say 15.0, cai 14.9, cam and some head work 14.6, ecu/tune 14.4. i don't see why these figures aren't realistic with a DRIVER WHO KNOWS TO BLOODY DRIVE.
honestly mate that is a poor time, regardless of weather it was you or the car, something was definitely wrong

just accept it mate, 6's arent meant to go fast. the car was running fine, it make lots of power which i wont tell. Alpha performance tuned it, they are the top workshop in w.a. Although you probably didnt know that coz u spend too much time playing fag tag.

mate drag tag MWAHAHAHAHAHAH

no way on this earth will you be able to get that time down at the REAL strip!

for one traction is not an issue and thats the hard part getting the car off the line
and a manual will not drop .5 sec down the 1/4
ffs mate go have a search on this forum for 1/4 mile times and what ppl have done to get those times

hahaha that s**t funny. you should do stand up comedy, only the people would be laughing at you not what your saying.
you had a car with potential tuned by a homo driven by a retard. thats why it went nowhere.
i had a near stock car that'd give yours a good run. face it. something must be wrong, or maby your hed was so high up your a**, you couldn't change gears until you herd the motor over rev.

14.9 is a shocker. how much power did it make??? u didnt ever dyno it did u???

ive said all i need to say.
6 cyl waste of time.

Get ur head out of ur a*** mate and get off the internet and step into the real world. The car was revving out to 7k. I had a 3.2L head on it to lower the compression and was running it on jet fuel. I got the absolute best out of it. Motec was setup for flat changes on the gears, i had a custom 9inch built with twin detroil lockers in the back. I spent lots of money that i regret doing.. coz 6's are s**t.
