possible, yes. easy, well how technically inept are you? you want to do it any time in the forseeable future? recommendation is pimp around in the xt til your off the plates & invest in a factory turbo. better way to go about it.

for reference, the ded gas barra motors are better for boost as they have stronger conrods (and i imagine gudgies, cranks etc too)

did you look at his age? he's 16. isn't it illegal to drive a turbo?

Maybe this kid can put currently getting turbo in his sig instead of actually doing it to avoid the p plate rule.

This is the most realistic thread to come out of a kid on school holidays yet I think.

Still needs to put the crack pipe down, but at least it is somewhat though out!

But nothing of yours is turbo yet. If the kid does the same he'll be sweet.

if you want a turbo falcon buy a xr6t, not a XT then turbo it, you'll spend way over the amount to buy a turbo xr6, plus the xr6t will be a lot more reliable and unless your spending big dollars a lot more powerful then a turbo xt. if you have a XT and want to turbo it, sell it an buy a xr6t. plus a modified exhaust for a NA 6 may be good for a NA 6 but probably wont cope for a xr6t

yeah, i did. maybe he'll be the reason ACT brings in laws about restricted cars if he throws it in to the trees. Main reason I didnt rip him was because in the scheme of things on this site he's young, but also interested & enthusiastic. Im sure he's had a look at that other tossers thread too & knows he's got a way to go yet till he should be aiming for power.

Just one suggestion Zac, get all your new body kits & toys and put them on yourself. You'll appreciated it far more, save money & most of all learn heaps about mechanical stuff. as always, we're all here to help & give good advice
