Post-Christmas (broke) I am considering some cheap little mods to my recent acquisition: an EL "Fal-tura-mont." I seen the 1-into-2 tail piece on ebay for just shy of $90 and I wanted to ask if that mod actually has any benefit other than appearance. Is it considered rice? I am too old to know what;s what, these days. Give us some opinions. I cannot argue that it doesn't LOOK good. I could spend that $90 on something else, such as a stick-on sunroof (joke.)

won't give any performance, just looks cool.

I made my own twin tip from 316 stainless, after 3 years it was still the shiniest thing on the car.

Go to Supercheap, they have Stainless twin tips for $50.00, and they don't add performance but they look great.

i don't see how it can even be called a 'mod'.
i think people need to start using their own brain, just a little, before posting.

How can you honestly think, even just the tiniest bit, that an exhaust tip is going to be for anything other then looks.

Well - some people put twin exhaust systems on 4 or 6 cylinder cars and although they make the car sound better/different, depending on who you talk to they do or don't make any difference to performance. It is debatable. I had that scenario in my head when I asked the question so to me it is a legitimate question. I am a victim of multiple opinions over the years, some obviously way off the beam. better to ask and find out than to wonder.

a $90 exhaust TIP is nothing even close to a twin exhaust SYSTEM.

+1 for the VT oval tip, suits the hole, and the ford badge above it.

So gay lol, to gain any performance mods from twin tips, it would have to go further than the tip lol, but I would still classify this as a mod, after all its not standard.
