tells me that changing the filter wont help much...

stock is legal anywhere, cheap to replace... better things to spend money on it appears...

(now to remove the pod filter off my nissan lol)

well i went to supercheap auto yesterday, and saw a K & N filter to fit in my airbox was $99. thought, stuff that, and bought a new gear stick knob. pretty much just gonna stick with the stocky filter, seems best. cheers for all the help guys

need to do this,,,,, EF-AU Airbox Only

cost about $5 unless you have some spare 75mm stormwater pipe laying around...

and a XR8 snorkel $48 from Ford.

Huge inprovement over stock

ahh well, I told just cars I have a filter and on my insurance statement, it says K&N air filter so its not my problem. I honestly dont see how the oil from the filter can foul sensors, such a minute amount will enter the combustion chamber every day that it would be negligible. I'm sure there are more impurities in the fuel itself that you put into your tank.
