got this off the ftg website. just wondering if it is a genuine ford part or just a copy. it says on the ebay link http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... 0375505804 that they have them available, not sure whether that is for that item or that they have the real deal at a higher price. thanks

If FTG say its real, i would believe Darren. If you get it and find its not, I know he would answer your queries and replace it if still not 100% satisfied.

All the ford stampng is on the underside, if your talking about the tick wings on the top, they were only on au xr8s.
the modification is trim along the front about 5mm off so it sits properly on the rad support, frankly I did it with a pair of scissors, beyond simple.

Only the large snorkels from the AUs had the Tickford stamped on it. BA onwards didn't. If you get the BA snorkel, you will need to cut 2 fins on thermofans and also drill 2 mounting holes into the radiator support. The holes on the BA snorkel don't line up with the EF/EL ones. Pretty simple.

ah see its the tickford wings i was looking for. fairy muff, sounds pretty easy, strong chance il still f**k it up somehow but its all fun and games ay. thanks for your help guys

BA don't have the Tickford wing due to the fact that Tickford ended with the AU. If you are after an AU XR8 with Wings you will pay alot more than $40.00.

Ford superseded the TICKFORD wing type by the BA one you saw advertised, they are the SAME CFM and are just minus the wings.
